Prayer point for the week 5th February to 11th February 2017
1.Lord I need you to help me with my attitude. Don’t let me be greedy; every spirit of greed in my life, be destroyed by the fire of the Holy Ghost. Amen.
2.I need the spirit of contentment to grow in me so that I will never be a slave of vanity and the pleasures of this world.
3.Lord don’t let the spirit of nabal destroy me like it destroyed nabal, open my eyes to be able to give and help people in need regardless of race, tribe, status or nationality. (1 Samuel 25)
4.Every evil deception spirit like the spirit of balak sent to deceive me to go against the will of God and the children of God, die by fire. In Jesus Name. numbers 22:1-7
5.God fill me with the spirit of godliness and contentment so that I can have great gain physically and spiritually. 1 timothy 6:6.
6.It is only in this world and physical matters money answers many things Ecclesiastes 10:19b, Lord give me what money cannot buy or give.
7.My Father in Heaven, give me food and raiment and therefore let me be contented all the days of my life.

Have you crucified the flesh? Lusts and affections
Text:Galatians 5:24-25
As long as we live in this world there must be a constant war between the flesh and the spirit. 1 Peter 2:11.
Apostle Paul gave a careful category of the works of the flesh in Galatians 19-21. If anyone of these is found in you,it will hinder you from making it home in heaven.
You don’t condone sin because of grace but you forsake sin because of grace.
The ultimate goal of a Christian is to fulfill God’s plan for coming to this earth,and thereafter making it home in heaven to be with Jesus Christ.
There is no work of the flesh that is too small or minute to ignore,anger is not an excuse by a Christian because the word of God gives us solutions on dealing with anger problems and other works of the flesh.
One of the signs that you are for Jesus Christ is that you have crucified the affections and lusts of your flesh.
What does it mean to crucify the affections and lust of the flesh? This simply means you become dead to sin. Reference to my message dead to sin.
Romans 6:6-10 gives us a better explanation that the old man(adamic nature) is crucified with Christ so that the body of sin might be destroyed and we would no longer serve sin. C.f Galatians 2:20.
Lust for sex,alcohol,women,money,power and other earthly bodily lust are of this world,every living soul must pass through it,how we respond to them tells us if we have truly crucified the lust of the flesh and its affections.
When you have crucified the flesh and its affection and its lust.you will know it because the sin that used to make you fall no longer have any effect or desires in you any longer.you are free in Christ Jesus. praise God. We win.
When you have your flesh crucified with its lust and affections you must exhibit the fruits of the spirit spoken of in Galatians 5:22-23, the fruit of the spirit is your secret that the mortal man needs to inherit the kingdom of God.
I need everyone to crucify the flesh so that we can inherit the kingdom of God,I am not excluded because I am flesh and blood too. May the Lord bless and empower us to crucify the flesh and its lust permanently.
If you claim to live in the spirit then you walk in the spirit,if you claim to be a Christian,then walk like a Christian,if you claim to name the name of Christ,then depart from iniquity. If you claim to be born again then live a holy life that shows you are born again.
We are easy and fast to condemn people who fell to the lust and affections of the flesh,the bible admonishes us to help them stand up again and not to crucify and condemn them. James 5:20,jude 22-24.
Now remember that God cannot be mocked whatsoever a man sow that shall it reap,so if you sow into the flesh you reap corruption,you sow into the spirit you reap life everlasting. Paul admonished us in verse 9 not to be tired of doing what is right and good because if we don’t give-up we shall reap good in a short time to come. Galatians 6:7-9.
If you commit sin and iniquity you sow into your flesh and you reap death and condemnation,but if you forsake sin,pray,fast and study the word of God and other godly seeds then you sow into the spirit and you reap everlasting life
Now the question is where do you sow? Your flesh or your spirit.

Expressway to Hell Fire: Suicide 160614
Text: Matthew 27:5-6, John10:10
This is a topic that you hardly hear in the circular world or churches too because it is overlooked yet millions die of depression or hopelessness daily and annually.
The weapon the devil is using is ignorance and depression to destroy people with their own hands.
Suicide is defined simply as the act of killing yourself intentionally.
There is no shame, defeat, mistake you can make that does not have an antidote but what the devil does is that he blocks your mind and make you think ending your life is the only way out of your misery.
Anyone who taketh his own life will face the wrath of God in judgment.
Many even commit suicide for foolish reasons. Imagine some drinking bleach chemical because she/he was jilted by a fiancee and many more happening.
The devil has come to steal, kill and destroy so he performs his tricks by trying to steal your glory, try to kill you at all cost and then destroy your soul in hellfire when he himself will end up in Hell fire. John 10:10a
So therefore blood is in your hands if you make someone take his own life wither intentionally or unintentionally.
In Matthew 27:5-6,we see that Judas Iscariot thought killing himself was the way out of the mess he found himself when he betrayed an innocent man for the sake of greed and money.
Killing himself is like telling God that you created your life and you can end it whenever you want and God frowns at it seriously.
Suicide has been portrayed by movies as one of the normal things people do when they are fed-up with life.
My brothers/sister please don’t and never see suicide as the only way out of a frustrated life or a shameful mess because you need to pray until God answers and he will surely answer you in due season.
Prayer: Father in Heaven, please don’t let me ever be a victim of suicidal thoughts and don’t let me see suicide as a way out of any sad experience..In Jesus Name..Amen
Jesus Christ is willing to change your story please come to him today, don’t let ignorance destroy your hope Matthew 11:28
