Text: Acts 19:13-16
The greatest enemy of mankind is Lucifer,a.k.a devil,Satan; Rev 12:12.the devil is a spirit being and is very cunning and deceitful. I stumbled on a Nigerian Igbo pastor who said that he went to hell to fight the devil and he defeated the devil and was given a wrestling belt to showcase his victory.how stupid!
We have come to a generation of mockers and babblers where they make comedy of the things of the God.so many will prefer to listen to seducing spirits. 1 timothy 4:1-3
I heard of a story of a man who wanted to prove to the world that he will die and rise up on the third day but pitiful he was struck with lightning on the third day. these scenarios make the devil laugh to stupor because of men’s ignorance and stupidity.
In the new testament we read the story of seven sons of sceva, a chief priest who wanted to chase out a demon;they were cold and powerless,they wanted to copy the miracles of apostle Paul,they were disgraced,beaten and wounded.Acts 19:13-17.
The devil can sense the ignorance,unbelief,insincerity of our actions;remember the devil respects power,that is the language he understands.
Christians don’t let the devil laugh at you,be filled with the Holy Spirit and power.

Text:john 2:1-11.
What is hidden is said to appear in secret and is not revealed or is assumed forgotten.Many men have hidden or silent years in both the bible and real life. Melshishedek had silent records of his years but we know he was the king and priest of Salem.Genesis 14:18-20
Many times part of the hidden years of a man are revealed after his death or at the judgement seat of Christ. It is important that we carefully examine our hidden years so that they won’t be a stumbling block to our public years;nevertheless the silent years are the time of a man’s life where the foundation is laid.
Every strong ministry is built on the silent years when the price will be paid for the glory to come. reading through the scriptures we see that Jesus acknowledged the silent years of a man’s life.john 2:4.
The hidden years of Jesus was about thirty years and his public ministry began at about the age of 30years,which lasted for about three and a half years.
It is dangerous for a man not to take cognizance of his silent years, It is my prayer that the silent years where our lives will be incubated for greatness shall not be aborted or cut short,in Jesus name.amen
