Have you crucified the flesh? Lusts and affections
Text:Galatians 5:24-25
As long as we live in this world there must be a constant war between the flesh and the spirit. 1 Peter 2:11.
Apostle Paul gave a careful category of the works of the flesh in Galatians 19-21. If anyone of these is found in you,it will hinder you from making it home in heaven.
You don’t condone sin because of grace but you forsake sin because of grace.
The ultimate goal of a Christian is to fulfill God’s plan for coming to this earth,and thereafter making it home in heaven to be with Jesus Christ.
There is no work of the flesh that is too small or minute to ignore,anger is not an excuse by a Christian because the word of God gives us solutions on dealing with anger problems and other works of the flesh.
One of the signs that you are for Jesus Christ is that you have crucified the affections and lusts of your flesh.
What does it mean to crucify the affections and lust of the flesh? This simply means you become dead to sin. Reference to my message dead to sin.
Romans 6:6-10 gives us a better explanation that the old man(adamic nature) is crucified with Christ so that the body of sin might be destroyed and we would no longer serve sin. C.f Galatians 2:20.
Lust for sex,alcohol,women,money,power and other earthly bodily lust are of this world,every living soul must pass through it,how we respond to them tells us if we have truly crucified the lust of the flesh and its affections.
When you have crucified the flesh and its affection and its lust.you will know it because the sin that used to make you fall no longer have any effect or desires in you any longer.you are free in Christ Jesus. praise God. We win.
When you have your flesh crucified with its lust and affections you must exhibit the fruits of the spirit spoken of in Galatians 5:22-23, the fruit of the spirit is your secret that the mortal man needs to inherit the kingdom of God.
I need everyone to crucify the flesh so that we can inherit the kingdom of God,I am not excluded because I am flesh and blood too. May the Lord bless and empower us to crucify the flesh and its lust permanently.
If you claim to live in the spirit then you walk in the spirit,if you claim to be a Christian,then walk like a Christian,if you claim to name the name of Christ,then depart from iniquity. If you claim to be born again then live a holy life that shows you are born again.
We are easy and fast to condemn people who fell to the lust and affections of the flesh,the bible admonishes us to help them stand up again and not to crucify and condemn them. James 5:20,jude 22-24.
Now remember that God cannot be mocked whatsoever a man sow that shall it reap,so if you sow into the flesh you reap corruption,you sow into the spirit you reap life everlasting. Paul admonished us in verse 9 not to be tired of doing what is right and good because if we don’t give-up we shall reap good in a short time to come. Galatians 6:7-9.
If you commit sin and iniquity you sow into your flesh and you reap death and condemnation,but if you forsake sin,pray,fast and study the word of God and other godly seeds then you sow into the spirit and you reap everlasting life
Now the question is where do you sow? Your flesh or your spirit.

Text: Leviticus 19:28,Revelation 21:27
Piercing has to do with every part of our bodies and the anchor verse is very clear that there must not be any cutting in your flesh so the ear is not exempted Leviticus 19:28
Today, piercing has becoming a style that every part of a person’s body now is pierced all in the name of style or fashion.
Ear piercing is not allowed too because it is not a determing factor to show you are feminine. It is not surprising you see few ministers who do not wear earrings or necklaces and its kind.
No cutting in the flesh is allowed and the ears is not exempted so let’s be careful to interpret the scriptures correctly and not to suit our mentality, lust and pleasures. Genesis 35:1-4,lev 19:28,1tim 2:9-10,exod 32:1-35,judges 8:23-27,hosea 2:1-13
Today we see mixture of tattoos and piercings on people’s bodies even the nostrils, eyelids, nipples, lips..Hmmm
Many are in hell today regretting they never did them.
Come to Jesus today who can give you conviction to change and save your soul from eternal destruction.
The word of God (bible) is the standard and not your pastor or your husband..on judgment day you will stand alone to be judged before God. Rev 20:12
Prayers: Father help me to be convicted on this piercing and tattoos on my body..In Jesus Name..Amen
