Secret code
Text: Matthew 7:7-8
There is a secret code in Christianity and that is why we usually get frustrated.
I heard it in my spirit..it said “use your mouth to ask what you want so your hands can receive what you asked with your mouth” Matthew 7:7-8 says
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
These were the words of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ himself and it is a secret many christians don’t know.
It is not only the believers that God answers their prayers..he also answers the prayers of the unbelievers. Romans 3:29
That’s why we believers have to use the priviledge we have as children to get all of God’s attention. romans 8:14-17
The master of a house feeds both his son and his servants but the son has access to the choicest of food and luxury of the Master. Luke 15:17-18
Ask and it shall be given,you can’t be given when you never asked or you asked amiss. James 4:3
Seek and you shall find..you cannot find what you did not search for…even when your eyes looks at your feet it has to seek to find it.
Knock and it shall be opened unto you..many try to open doors they did not knock to enter. Many opened doors they did not knock that’s why they entered through the wrong doors. Many wait for doors to open that they did not knock.
This passage has a lot to do with Faith and patience upon God not looking at how much time has been spent if the delay is coming from God himself.
Matthew 7:8 says FOR EVERY ONE that asketh receiveth,and he that seeketh findeth,and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
I believe you are in that group called EVERY ONE and matthew 7:11 is our assurance because our Father which is in heaven will much more give good things to them that ask him?
See that phrase:”To them that ask him”,not only children are entitled but them that ask him; simply all who ask the Father in heaven.
It is the will of God our Father in HEAVEN to give us ALL good things but many times we don’t ask Daddy.
The way you approach God is the way you will see him. If you approach him as God you will see him as God but if you approach him as your Father,you will see him as both your Daddy and God together.
Our Lord’s prayer did not say Our God which art in Heaven but it says Our Father who art in Heaven. Matthew 6:9
The gods of the world will fail us,the fathers of this world will fail us but Our Father who lives in Heaven will never fail us: Why? Because he never sleeps nor slumber. Psalm 121:3-4
This secret code is what the Lord has given all who truly believes in him and trust him for who he is and what he can do.
Prayer: Now Lord,I have seen this secret code that you are my Father in Heaven not Just my God..please make matthew 6:7-8 my covenant of relationship with you all the days of my life. In Jesus Name. Amen
Sometimes we repeat the usage of the Word of God but we don’t repeat the power it carries,simply because it is our Faith that makes the Word effective in our mouth and hearts. Hebrews 11:6
It is the duty of the devil to discourage us from trusting,asking,seeking the Lord because he knows what we get to enjoy when we do that. 1 peter 5:8, Revelation 12:10-11,
One word that mostly affect us from receiving from the Lord is when we ask in the Word ” IF”. That is a badge of doubt and the Lord resents it..though out of mercy he sometimes overlook it. Matthew 21:21,James 1:8
We as humans do have times when we are scared,little children do become afraid but when they are with their parents they seem to be confident their parents can protect them…How much more our Father in Heaven who has assured us not to be fearful or afraid and above all,he has not given us the spirit of fear. 2 timothy 1:7,John 16:33,2 chronicles 16:22,psalm 105:15
Also many use the mouth of prophets or pastors to ask from God,that is why they later get seen and unseen battles from such ministers when things go unfriendly between them and they sometimes become hindrances to them.
Am not against people seeking pastors to pray about issues but it must not be in excess..when a mother is using her child to always ask for something from her husband then that is a huge problem..matthew 27:50-51 Will be revealing more in part 2 as the spirit of God permits. Secret discipleship
Text: John 3:1-21, Luke 1:1-4, John 19:38-42
A secret disciple: who is a secret disciple in terms of Christianity? A secret disciple is someone who wants to follow Jesus Christ but does not have the boldness or opportunity to declare his allegiance to Jesus because of resistance from his former religion or family.
We shall look at some secret disciples or followers of Christ from the bible and how it relates to us today in this present dispensation.
Secret discipleship is what is needed to win souls in other religion and to avoid complication and tribulations for converts that are not stable or independent enough to declare their faith in Jesus Christ.
We shall take clues or examples from the bible for some secret disciples.
First of all we read in John 3:1-21, where the ruler of the Jews, a Pharisee named nicodemus.
From biblical indication nicodemus was on the opposing side of Jesus Christ but still wanted to know more about Jesus.
In those days a Pharisee was one of the people who govern the Jews and nicodemus was also a member of the Sanhedrin, we later read of him in John 19:39-40 where he came to collect the body of Jesus after his death on the cross and he came with Joseph of arimathea who was another secret disciple of Jesus who came for the body of Jesus Christ.
They did not follow Jesus in the day but believed in him and came to him by night because of the fear of their fellow Jews and the position they held in the rulership of the Jews.
Sometimes in the winning of souls we should exercise wisdom and it does not mean they will not make it to heaven if they don’t openly declare their allegiance to Jesus Christ.
Secret discipleship is needed in strange territories where violence is shown towards the christian religion and this gives birth to secret meetings for converts and worshippers of Christ Jesus.
Jesus is Lord and Saviour
