The Answered request from Hell
Text: luke 16:19-31
One would wonder about this absurd topic which is true but great truth lies beneath the message.
One thing I trust our Lord and saviour Jesus christ for is that he is not into fictions but based on real provable facts.
In luke 16:19-31,our Lord and saviour Jesus christ spoke about a real-life event which sounded like a story but its a true life story which is seen in the frame of 13 verses.
There was a rich man who wore the best and finest clothes of his time which was purple and fine linen and he lived a wealthy life and ate the best food daily without lack for one day; in contrast there was a beggar called Lazarus who was poor and full of sores all over his body,lazarus was placed at the gate of the rich man.
Lazarus was happy to be fed with the crumbs that fell from the rich man’s table and since he had sores all over his body the dogs of the rich man licked his sores,that must have been dehumanising for lazarus;yet he did not hold any grudge against the rich man.
Did you notice that the name of the rich man was not given but the name of the poor beggar was given,this is to prove that in hell your status,name,fame, achievements,awards does not matter because it is useless in hell but in heaven your name,fame,status still matters and it means you are still alive in joy and peace with God.
The rich man and the poor beggar both died,the rich man went to hell and lazarus the poor beggar was taken to heaven by angels into the bosom and comfort of father abraham.
Jesus Christ our Lord could speak of heavenly mysteries because he came from Heaven and he has been existing before the creation of the universe. John 8:20-58,john 1:1-36.
There was a turn around between the rich man and lazarus;this twist was full of regret for the rich man because he was in terrible suffering while the poor beggar lazarus was comforted.
The rich man was in a state of torment that he could not afford to get water in hell and had to beg for a drop of water from lazarus upon his tongue.
It is a great pity that Father Abraham still called the rich man “friend” and told him to remember that he had everything good when he was alive but lazarus when he was alive had everything bad but now he is happy but the rich man in pain.
Prayer: Lord Jesus whatever good things of this world that will cause me pain in eternity;take it away from me now and open my understanding to endure till the end.
Between heaven and hell there is a great gulf between which makes it impossible for anyone to cross over from both sides. Which means no one can escape from hell into heaven or back to earth after judgement.
Remember that the fact that a christian who is enjoying the good things of this life and careless of your salvation can result to spending eternity to be where the rich man ended while a poor christian who endured persecution all the days of his life now enjoy heaven for all eternity.
19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. The request from hell came from the rich man to Father Abraham(luke 16:27-28).
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
The rich man requested that Father Abraham send lazarus back to the earth to his Father’s house where he had five living brothers who lived the same life he lived while he was on earth.
Verse 28 was painful and loving that the rich man did not want his five brothers to end-up in hell with him.
Hell is a horrible place you won’t even wish your enemy to go talkless of your friend. The rich man tried to save the souls of his five brothers before it was too late.
Father Abraham replied him in verse 29 that his brothers could read what moses and the prophets wrote. Yes we have the Holy books in the Holy bible and servants of God to explain to us. 29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
The question is that you call yourself a christian but have you taken the bold step to warn a sinner of the consequence of his action and how God deals with sinners in hell fire? The most intriguing part of this request is found in verse 30
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
The rich man knew it was not enough so he said that if someone from the dead would go to them then they would listen and turn to God.
Now from the revelation we hear from sister linda Rika(sierra leone),pastor abraham(nigeria),samuel oghenetega emmanuel(nigeria),Angelica Zambrano and many others who experience after-death and gave deep insight on what happens after death,sufferings and tortures in hell;yet many people don’t believe that the request of the rich man was considered in hell.
Yet as father abraham answered the rich man in luke 16:31;they would not listen to someone who comes back from the dead to warn them.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. Whether you want to believe or not:”Hell is real as much as Heaven is real too”.
The Heaven where God resides,the only way there is Jesus Christ and there is no other saviour than Jesus Christ; John 14:6.
The rich man asked that his five brothers be warned about hell and he begged that lazarus who they knew was dead could be sent to warn them so that they would believe.
We don’t know if the five brothers of the rich man was saved but I know you and I will be saved in Jesus Name,Amen: So let us do all we can to make Heaven at all cost.
Your Church,pastor,bible won’t take you to Heaven but your submission of your heart to Jesus Christ wholeheartedly.
Prayer: Lord Jesus save me from false prophets,evil churches,prosperity seeking churches,demonic misleading bible translations and help me to stand till the end of my course on earth,don’t let me compromise Lord Jesus.
No sorrow on earth can be compared to sorrow of eternity in hell,no pain on earth can be compared to the pain of eternity in hell,no regret on earth can be compared to the regrets of eternity in hell. I beg you to never let the pain,pleasure and lust of this present world rub you of eternity in heaven. Jesus is the only way to enter heaven because after death,judgement follows.
The Holy Spirit is the power of God you need to have to overcome the world and its pleasures.
Prayer: Lord Jesus help me till the end,don’t leave me nor forsake me in this sinful and wicked world,help me to spend eternity with you at all cost.
There will be surprises on judgement day but don’t refuse to follow Jesus because of the anomaly of a preacher or the misbehaviour of a christian because they are not the standard but Jesus is the standard,way and example to make Heaven.
There is hardly a second chance if you miss it now,ensure that your name is written in the book of life of the lamb slain before the foundation of the world luke 10:20,revelation 13:8.
Prayer: Lord Jesus I cry unto you,forgive me all my sins,wash me with your blood that was shed at calvary and write my name in the book of life now,help me not to have my name remove for any reason.
It is worse if you know the truth but you fail to tell it to your friend,family member before it is too late,tell them the consequences of the action of a sinner who refuses Jesus christ. John 3:18 Jesus is Lord and Saviour

Prayers for today 120716
In all things,in all situation,in good,in bad,God expects us to give thanks to him.
One of the closest activities with thanksgiving is rejoicing. Rejoicing has nothing to do with mourning or worrying.
Sometimes it is difficult to give thanks when unhappy or sorrowful but God’s grace is sufficient if we can depend on Jesus for our strength. We shall take our prayers today from Philippians 4:4-7
1. Lord don’t let me stop rejoicing in you,always give me a reason to always rejoice..pray this prayer if you have faith.
2. Lord help me to be gentle and forbearing unto all men, So that I won’t mislead people to hell because of my actions.
3. Your coming is at hand Jesus Christ. Don’t forget me when you come to take us home.
4. Lord Jesus help me not to worry about anything but to pray about everything. You will always hear my prayers because of your mercy and grace towards me.
5. Lord God help me to always offer my prayers and request to you with a thankful heart continuously.
6. Lord Jesus because I belong to Jesus Christ,bless me with your peace that no one can understand completely,let this peace control the way I think and feel.

7. Lord God Almighty,keep evil and sorrow away from me and my family.

8. Lord, don’t let rejoicing cease in my life. In Jesus christ name..Amen

Prayer for today 04072016
Our prayer for today will be taken from exodus 14:13-16
1. Lord Jesus make me not to fear ,stand still and see your salvation because the challenge I see today I will never see it again forever
2. Lord God, fight for me and let me have my peace,just like you did for israel in exodus 14:14.
3. Lord God I don’t want to delay myself with crying I want to move forward because of your Word today. Exodus 14:15 (Doubt,unbelief and fear only moves us backward in the plans of God for us)
4. Lord Jesus I have lifted up the rod in my arms stretched over the red sea before me,cause it to divide so that I can move on dry land through it. Jesus,by your word create a way for me in my wilderness. Amen Jesus is Lord and Saviour

The style of God

The style of God is a very crucial topic and it will be summarised in this message.
The word Style according to the merriam-webster dictionary means a particular way in which something is done,created or performed. It can also be defined as the way of behaving or of doing things.
From the biblical knowledge of the Holy Bible we see in both the new and old testament the style of God.
The first of the style of God is Holiness;remove holiness and nothing is left. exodus 15:11 tells us how prophet moses saw the style of God and he says God is glorious in Holiness. See also psalm 89:18,145:17;isaiah 6:3;43:15
Also in exodus 28:36;39:30 we see that God wants those that serve him to have the label of “Holiness unto the Lord”

The second style of God is Truth;numbers 23:19.God cannot lie and hebrews 6:18 says its impossible for God to lie. God is true in all his ways and he cannot pretend himself before any man or angel.
This nature of God was seen in Jesus Christ when he said he is the way,truth and life John 14:6.
This style of God is what makes us to trust God that he cannot and never lead us astray nor desert us in our time of need.
Another style of God is orderliness: yes God is not disorganised Genesis 1:1-2:1-2..he has arranged every of his plan..you and I are nicely fitted in his plan and agenda for eternity all we need to do is trust him to reveal his plan for our lives through prayers and faith. isaiah 49:16,jeremiah 29:11
1 corinthians 14:33 tells us that God is not an author of confusion but of PEACE..so check your life; if there is confusion then you need to ask God for peace so you can move forward.
In creation God is organised and did not want us to be disorganised even to our sexual relationship leviticus 18,leviticus 20:12.
Another style of God is faithfulness,this style of God has to do with the true,constant support and loyalty of God towards his children..deuteronomy 7:9,psalm 36:5,89:2lamentations 3:22-23,1 thessalonians 3:3,2 timothy 2:13,
we see a good example of the faithfulness of God in daniel 3 where the 3 hebrew boys were faithful to God and God was faithful to them in return by delivering them from the fiery furnace daniel 3:24-30. Now many people confuse this style of God for liberty to be unfaithful to God.
Another style of God is Love,God is love and true love is of God.1 john 4:7-20;ephesians 2:4,1 corinthians 2:9,8:3,romans 5:5
God’s love extends to a sinner,God is not happy when a sinner dies. 2 peter 3:9,ezekiel 18:23.
In John 3:16 we see a demonstration of the love of God towards mankind and this style has showed the mercy and kindness of God towards both the sinner and the righteous alike. Never let the devil make you feel or believe God hates you or you are a problem to God..accept the love of God into your heart today so you can love others too.
There are many styles of God but these are the few we shall touch in this broadcast.
So don’t lose this chance to surrender your life to Jesus christ today,tomorrow might be too late..come to him,he is waiting to receive you and show you more about himself. Jesus is Lord and Saviour

Text: philippians 4:7,colossians 3:15
Philippians 4:7 says and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
In the words of apostle paul to the philippians,we talked about a peace which comes from God and goes beyond the understanding of man and devils..this peace helps you keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus against apostasy and rebellion. Colossians 3:15
The peace of God is needed for the lonely,depressed,bereaved,sick,imprisoned,and people passing through trying times that people will wonder how a person is happy yet he is sick or bereaved. This peace of God is beyond the understanding of carnal men and even the devil cannot understand this peace that God gives to keep the heart and mind of his beloved children only through Jesus Christ. Romans 15:33
According to colossians 3:15,would you let the peace of God rule in your heart and be thankful?
I conclude my message with 2 thessalonians 3:16 which says: Now the Lord of peace give you peace always by ALL MEANS. The Lord be with you all. Jesus is Lord and Saviour

Peace: Be Still
Text: mark 4:35-41,2 timothy 1:7,isaiah 59:19,
One of the most interesting elements is the wind,the wind works co-operatively with the other elements like fire,water and earth and has destructive force or influence.
Nature is a creation of God and not the devil so as a child of God they not work against us. Genesis 2:4
When the wind works with fire,fire burns ferociously,when the wind works up with water it becomes turbulent and when the wind works with earth its turmoil.
In mark 4:35-41 where Jesus and his disciples were passing over to the other side after teaching a great multitude on the parable of the sower.
While on the sea,the disciples and Jesus were on the ship,a storm of wind arose to beat waves against the ship and it was filled with water..Jesus was in the lower part of the ship asleep on a pillow while the disciples were struggling to balance the ship..they woke him because they were afraid to die.
In verse 39 Jesus arose and simply rebuked the wind and said to the Sea;Peace, be still and the wind ceased and there was a great calm.
The disciple were even afraid to die even when their master Jesus was with them on the ship;this tells us they did not understand who Jesus is and how infinite his power is.
In verse 40 Jesus said to them: why are ye so fearful? How is it that ye have NO FAITH.
Many today are followers of Jesus christ but are so fearful about what they have seen in the sea of life like sickness, accident, scarcity, inflation, battles, wars amongst others;this has made them have No faith despite being followers of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ after the incident on the sea was feared by his disciples and they were shocked that the wind and the sea obeyed him. Verse 41.
I speak to someone on the sea going to the other side of life and the storms of winds has started to put you in fear and has made you less aware that your Master Jesus christ is in the ship with you,Jesus christ won’t let any evil turbulence overcome you..May you experience the command of Jesus to the sea: Peace,be still. 2 timothy 1:7
Don’t look at the sickness, joblessness, poverty, disease, lack, barreness, failure, sadness and any other storm of winds you are passing through,instead look unto Jesus who can still the winds and storms against you.
We also see that the enemy sometimes will come like a flood against us but if we are not afraid the Lord shall lift up a standard against him..it is a promise in isaiah 59:19.
It is the will of God that we experience Peace but many have bowed to the will of the devil through fear and doubt…isaiah 43:7,1 thessalonians 5:18,matthew 14:25-33,
whenever you become afraid,remember that Jesus Christ is inside you and you are more than conqueror to experience Peace that stills fear and storms. Romans 8:37,1 John 4:4
Be prayerful and seek the face of God daily and be sure that you have the peace of the Lord in you so that your foot shall not be moved.
You need Jesus christ to experience this absolute peace,if you don’t have Jesus in your life..please say this short prayer: Lord Jesus I come to you today,am a sinner,please have mercy on me,forgive me all my sins and wash me white as snow. Make me new in you and grant me eternal life..In Jesus Name..Amen If you said this short prayer..
