Freely given to you,freely give to others
Text :Matthew 10:8,1 Corinthians 12:2-7.
We did not buy our salvation at any price so we cannot give salvation to others at any price. Ephesians 2:8.
The disciples did not pay to become fellow servants and friends with Jesus,they were chosen by grace.Matthew 4:18-22.
Many today have turned Christianity to a business where they sell healing,deliverance,counseling to people in cash or kind.
Jesus knew of this human weakness of wanting to capitalize on people’s ignorance and desperation in matthew 10, he warned his disciple in verse 8,he said heal the sick,cleanse the lepers,raise the dead,cast out devils because ye have received freely so you must give freely.
One of the lessons the Lord taught me is that you are in dangers of hell and losing your reward in heaven when you tie people’s deliverance to money;meaning you charge people for spiritual help.
Gifts acquired from God is on the altar of mercy,it is to profit with it for the body of Christ and not for your personal gain. According to 1 Corinthians 12 verses 4 to 10. Verse 7 tells us it is given to every man to profit withal.
Brethren this is not a license to burden ministers with problem and expect them mandatorily to solve your problems,they are humans like you and you must bear the cost of getting the help but it must not be imposed on you.
For instance,if you are to do a 3days prayer in a church,you are not to impose that the pastor feed you for the three days,but if he has the financial power to do so then it is all the same good. You bear the cost.
I never read where in the bible that Jesus or the disciples charge victims for their healings or tied it to a returned Favour to be delivered.
If you pray for people and they forget you after they have been blessed and delivered through you by the Lord,it is not in your power to curse them or neglect them when next they come to you but you ask the Lord to remember you,God might not put it in their hearts or minds to bless and help you.
I repeat myself on this,if you go to a minister of God and he gives monetary condition before helping you or tells you he will prepare some things like concussion,rituals or any unbiblical approach then its better you run despite their powerful prophetical gift or ministry.
Any solution other than praying,fasting,word of authority is outside the Christian work of Jesus.
Sometimes we might be tempted not to freely give to others what we have been given by God,it does not make it right.God can be testing your contentment and faithfulness.1 timothy 6:6-12.
Listen carefully,if the Lord uses you to bless others its a privilege and if he chooses otherwise don’t go looking for powers from the kingdom of darkness at all cost in the name of God to deceive the elect or the ignorant.
One test is not by miracles,signs and wonders by by their fruits and it is Jesus Christ himself that gave us this test in matthew 7:15-23.
Listen don’t sacrifice you salvation or walk with God for problems or challenges you are passing through,may the Lord always remind us to turn to him first whenever we are faced with problems like mountains and mountains like problems.matthew 11:28-30.
Don’t judge the success of any ministry by the size or its financial capacity but on the manifestation of gifts of the Holy Ghost and the number of people ready and prepared for the bridegroom who are clean and pure.
Always remember to say thank you to those who have helped you in your spiritual need and walk with God,above all to Jesus who walked through them. Luke 17:12-19.
